Choose between Clean and Executive

Clean and Executive both work well for markdown documents, but they solve different presentation problems. Clean is more neutral. Executive adds stronger hierarchy and suits formal documents better.

If the reader only needs clarity, choose Clean. If the document is client-facing, proposal-like, or needs more visual hierarchy, Executive is usually the better fit.

A simple rule

• Use Clean for notes, READMEs, and general summaries.
• Use Executive for reports, updates, and proposals.

When in doubt, export both in preview and compare which one reduces cognitive load for the reader.
